OFHS' Annual General Meeting 2024 - Agenda and calling notice

The Society’s Annual General Meeting will take place at 8pm on Monday 24 June 2024. The meeting will be held at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB and over Zoom.

The existing Executive look forward to welcoming members to the AGM. The meeting will be open to non-members but only members are permitted to vote.
The Society’s constitution allows for a maximum of twelve members of the Executive Committee. Members of the Society may nominate candidates, with their agreement, for the posts of the honorary officers (Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Editor) and committee members. This year will see our present Chairman, Malcolm Austen, standing down so we are looking for someone to fill the Chairman role. 
We also still need people to come forward to fill the Project Co-ordinator and Meetings Organizer roles, these 2 roles do not have to be filled by people on the Executive Committee. If you are interested in any of these roles please contact one of the committee members for further information. Nominations can either be sent to the Secretary at the address below, or via email, and must be received by Saturday 1 June 2024. A list of nominations will be available at the AGM.
Following the close of the meeting, and before Charles Eldridge gives his talk on the Fire of Warwick, there will be short opportunity for members to raise any matters concerning the Society that have not been dealt with during the AGM.
