Talk Summary: Although the towns of Belfast and Southampton claim the Titanic as their own, over 70% of the ship’s interior was manufactured in the Midlands. Based on his own research Andrew tells the story of the Midlands’ industrial work on the ship and the fate of the local passengers. A dramatic presentation delivered in full White Star Line Uniform, using images, audio and numerous props. Climb aboard and experience the voyage of your life.

Speaker’s Bio:  Andrew has been presenting lectures and staging exhibitions for nearly 50 years.  He has organized and funded many public activities in support of Birmingham Museum of Science & Industry, Soho House Museuma and the Avery Historical Museum.   He is a man of many interests who specializes in space science and astronomy from both a current and historical perspective.  Another main area of interest of Andrew’s is  the Titanic.  After many years of dedicated research he is now recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on the subject. His research into the Birmingham & Midlands connections of the the Titanic has been extensive and led him to write, direct and produce a stage show “1912: A Titantic Odyssey”,
