AGM & The fire of Warwick

This is a Hybrid meeting with the AGM starting at 8pm (UK Time) and a short talk on the Fire of Warwick to follow. Hall doors will open at 7:30pm and the Zoom meeting will start at 7:55pm

Talk summary: We all know about the Great Fire of London but there were several other town fires in England during the 17th century. Charles recently found out about the Great Fire of Warwick in 1694 as part of his family history investigations. This talk will look at why fires started and how town planners changed the design of towns to avoid further fires. It was also look at how those affected by the fire received compensation.
