Useful Software Tools for Family History Research

Synopsis: The talk introduces the audience to ninety-five useful software tools for family historians, many of which are low cost or free, across eight different categories: Family Tree Programs; Office Software; Note Taking Apps; Scanning Software; Drawing Tools; Photograph Tools; Genius Genealogy Tools; & Tablet/Phone Apps. Phil’s objective is to introduce each and every audience member to at least one useful new tool they haven’t tried before. There is a PDF handout for this talk containing URLs for each of the tools mentioned.
