Agricultural Labourers

Ian Waller, will talk about what records are available for researching your Agricultural Labourers.

Speaker Bio:  Ian Waller is a retired professional genealogist with over 35 years’ experience in English research. He currently serves as a trustee and education officer of the Family History Federation. He is a former Chairman of and a Fellow of AGRA (The Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives) the body which represents professional genealogists throughout England and Wales.

He is a Fellow of the Society of Genealogists, was a former trustee and Chairman of the Education Committee. He has written several books in the Society’s “My Ancestor” series including My Ancestor was an Agricultural Labourer (recently revised). He has also written “Family History Research Challenges and How to Solve Them” and “Introducing Manorial Records” both published by Family History Books.
