The Society’s Annual General Meeting took place at 8:00pm on Monday 27 June 2022 at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB. This was our first physical AGM since 2019 and I welcomed members to Kidlington. The meeting was open to non-members but only members were permitted to vote. The Society’s constitution allows for a maximum of twelve members of the Executive Committee. Members of the Society may nominate candidates, with their agreement, for the posts of the honorary officers (Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Editor) and committee members. As our then current Treasurer stood down, we urgently needed to find someone to fill this post. We also had vacancies for committee members and were looking for people to fill the Webmaster and Programme Co-ordinator roles. Nominations for any of the officer roles or committee members were received by the Secretary at the address below by Monday 6 June 2022. A list of nominations were available at the AGM.

Close of meeting
Following the close of the meeting, and before the invited speaker gives a talk, there will be short opportunity for members to raise any matters concerning the Society that have not been dealt with during the AGM.
