Richard Moore FSG

The Society is very sorry to hear of the recent death of one of our early members, Richard Moore FSG.

Richard was a Fellow of the Society of Genealogists, a Vice-President of the Guild of One-Name Studies, and a Vice-President of Wiltshire Family History Society.

Richard is pictured here at our recent Open Day in October (thanks to Malcolm Austen).  He had brought his advice table to many of our Open Days.  He will be sadly missed.

  • We have now received the following:
“The funeral arrangements for Richard have now been settled. There will be a
private family service at the crematorium and this is to be followed by a
memorial service for all who wish to attend at 12noon on Monday 2nd
December at Christ Church, Cricklade Street, Swindon, SN1 3HG.”

A map showing the church is at http://www.christchurchswindon.co.uk/findus.htm

I will be attending the service and representing the Society.
