On Monday 5 February 2018, the subject of our computer-focussed meeting will be “Charting your Family History”, with the talk given by Kevin Poile of OFHS’s computer group panel.
Kevin says he will look at the options within RootsMagic and the standalone charting software “Charting Companion” for taking your family tree and producing charts. There will also be a discussion on the various file formats used to save the resulting charts.
Kevin is a member of both the OFHS Executive Committee and the Computer Group Panel. He is an advisor at the Oxfordshire History Centre and in Wallingford and Chinnor libraries. He has 30+ years experience of researching family history.
We meet at the Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB, with the meeting starting at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:15pm, when there will be a warm welcome for all.
