AGM followed by GENUKI: the UK & Ireland Genealogical Information Service – Oxfordshire FHS Talk 27 June 2016

This meeting will commence with the Annual General Meeting.

Following the AGM, at approximately 20:30, Malcolm Austen (OFHS Chairman and GENUKI trustee) will talk about GENUKI: the UK & Ireland Genealogical Information Service

The talk will start with a very brief history of GENUKI which is 21 years old this year and then move on to show (and discuss) the structure working with the live web site on-screen. (A safety-net may be used if the inter-net fails us!)

We meet at the Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB, with the talk starting at 8:00pm. Doors open at 7:15pm, when there will be advisors offering computer and genealogy help, books for sale, and tea and coffee available.

Non-members are very welcome.
