Focus on Thame, Oxfordshire Local History Association's autumn study day, Saturday 15 October

Focus on Thame, Oxfordshire Local History Association (OLHA)’s autumn study day, will be held on Saturday 15 October at the Thame Barns Centre. In the morning three lectures will cover the recent excavations of Neolithic, Saxon and Roman remains; Baron Williams, Tudor courtier; and the residents of St Mary’s churchyard. You’ll be able to have lunch in one of the many cafés and pubs in this attractive market town before visiting the museum to see the excellent displays. A self-guided town walk is also available which covers many interesting and historic buildings.

The cost is only £10 per person, and non-members are very welcome. Please book via the website (http://www.olha.org.uk/events/study-days/), or download a booking form (http://www.olha.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/OLHA-Thame-study-day-flyer-Oct-2016.pdf) and send with a cheque made payable to “OLHA” to Liz Woolley, 138 Marlborough Road, Oxford, OX1 4LS.
