South African Genealogical Records

by Jessica Feinstein; this talk commences at 8.00pm.

This talk will introduce you to the different types of records that can help you trace people who spent time in South Africa, and the many websites and resources that are available. South African census records cannot be used by family historians, so Jessica shows you what you can use instead to find out about your ancestors’ lives.

Jessica is a local family history teacher and Qualified Genealogist. She conducts research for clients and especially enjoys trying to solve family mysteries. Jessica edits a genealogy journal and is the Managing Editor for the JewishGen Press.

The talk will be given using Zoom. It will be recorded and available in the Members’ area after the talk has been delivered.
